Mass Memorandum submitted by the people of the service area of KAZHAKUTTOM Railway Station to the Respected General Manager of Southern Railway on the occasion of his visit to the Kazhakuttom Railway Station.
Respected Sir,
At the very outset, may we express our heartfelt gratitude for providing “STOP’ for Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Express No.12697 (UP) and for Trivandrum-Ernakulam Vanchinad Express 16304 (DOWN) in the recent past at KAZHAKUTTOM.
2. As indicated by the very large turnout of passengers and justified by the presence and growth of large number of institutions/organizations like Technopark, ISRO, CRPF Group HQ, International Apparel Park, etc. and subsequent growth of floating population, the above mentioned/ existing train ‘STOPS’ are not at all sufficient to cater to the transport requirements of the Kazhakuttom Railway Station. (This Station has THREE ticket counters, two of which are not in use currently).
3. Hence, we the potential passengers of the service area of KAZHAKUTTOM Railway Station, who at present solely depend on TVC, earnestly request your good-self to harness all the resources at your disposal to arrange ‘STOP’ for more express trains at this Station and help to meet the conveyance needs of people engaged in the process of building up a bright future to our great Nation.
4. We propose the following trains to STOP at KAZHAKUTTOM:
12695 & 96 between Chennai & Trivandrum (UP & DOWN)
16525 & 26 between Kanyakumari & Bangalore (UP & DOWN)
17229 & 30 between Kochu Veli and Hyderabad – SABARI (UP & DOWN)
16315 & 16 between Kochu Veli & Bangalore (UP & DOWN)
16127 & 28 between Chennai & Guruvayoor (UP & DOWN)
16649 & 50 between Mangalore & Trivandrum – PARASURAM (UP & DOWN)
16341 & 42 between Guruvayoor & Trivandrum – INTERCITY (UP & DOWN)
16301 & 02 between Shornur & Trivandrum – VENAD (UP & DOWN)
16629 between Mangalore and Trivandrum – Malabar (UP only – DOWN already stops)
16303 between Ernakulam & Trivandrum – VANCHINAD (UP only – DOWN already stops)
Yours faithfully,
